What is My Refresh Rate is operated by Marko Blagotinšek. You can use the tests without an account; test calculations run in your browser. This policy explains the separate site analytics and advertising services.

What stays local

Test results, personal bests, settings and history are stored in this browser’s local storage. We do not upload test input or results. You can clear this data in your browser settings at any time.

Camera, microphone and gamepad

These devices are accessed only when you start a test that needs them. Their data is processed in the page and is not uploaded by this app.

Hosting and analytics

Vercel hosts the site and may process request data, including IP addresses, for delivery, security and operational logs. Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and general engagement. Enhanced Measurement is disabled, and we do not send test input, results or URL query strings as analytics events. Google may process device and usage data under its own privacy terms.

Advertising and consent

We use Google AdSense and Google’s certified consent management platform. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for advertising and measurement. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the consent message offers Consent, Do not consent and Manage options. Where applicable in the US, an opt-out message lets you restrict sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Advertising placement is currently disabled while the site is under review, but Google’s AdSense script is present for verification and consent management.

Your choices

You can change your consent choices through the privacy options shown by Google where available. You can also remove cookies and local results in your browser. To ask about access, deletion or another privacy right, contact us below.
